Meet our Leadership Team

Brad McAllister was appointed Principal at John Therry Catholic College, commencing in 2023. Brad is an ex-student at John Therry, having graduated in 1995. Brad has held the substantive role of Assistant Principal at John Therry, Rosemeadow since 2016. Brad is an experienced educator, with over 21 years of service to Catholic Education in the Diocese of Wollongong. His teaching career began in 2001 at Magdalene Catholic College, Narellan where he taught and led over the next several years. In 2011, Brad was appointed as Curriculum Coordinator at Mount Carmel Catholic College, Varroville. In 2014, Brad undertook a secondment to the Catholic Education Office as a Professional Officer - Data Analysis and School Improvement working within the then School and System Performance Team.

Brad has acquired qualifications including a Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Theology from Broken Bay Institute, a Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership from UOW, a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard and a Bachelor of Education (Health and Physical Education) from UOW.

Brad is passionate about ensuring our Catholic Schools model the teachings of Christ, and are places where our young people are known, loved and can achieve their full potential.
