HSC MUSIC PERFORMANCES - LIVESTREAM
Congratulations to our HSC Music students who live streamed their performances last night. Outstanding performances by all! A big thankyou to Mr Mayes who spent many hours recording and editing to make this all possible and to capture our amazingly talented students doing what they love.
The theme of Science Week this year was Deep Blue: innovations for the future of our oceans. Students were involved in activities in the library, an escape room and the second annual paper plane competition.
Students in Years 7 - 10 Science took part in an escape room that required students to solve scientific problems to receive codes to unlock the backup power supply of a submarine which is looking for a gigantic squid. The fastest team to solve all 10 problems won a $25 gift card for each member of the team.
The winners of the escape room were Riley Wilson, Ethan Ross, Francesco Gerace and Kayne Nia, who completed the escape room in 17 minutes and 30 seconds. Well done boys!!!
On Friday 21 August, over 30 students signed up for the 2nd Annual paper plane competition. Students were given a piece of A4 paper when they signed up and made a paper plane to fly in the competition. The student who flew their plane the furthest would win a $25 gift card.
The winner of the competition was Filemu Logai-Lusiano, who flew his paper plane a grand total of 10 metres.
Thanks so much JTCC for your support of Jersey day today.
