WELCOME BACK TO TERM 4
I warmly welcome all of the John Therry community back to the final Term of the 2022 school year. Daylight saving has already started and the weather is certainly warming up. (Although the wet persists). Term 4 is still one of significant importance in preparation for the moving forward to a new Year group in 2023.
We wish our Year 12 students all the best in their HSC exams and that they perform as well as they can. Please join me in the following prayer of support for them.
A PRAYER FOR OUR HSC STUDENTS
We invite you to pray for all of our HSC students as they commence their final HSC examinations. We pray that St Joseph of Cupertino, the patron of exams and students, be with them all during this time.
Dear Lord,
As our students in our diocese begin their HSC exams, we thank you that their value is not based on their performance, but on your great love for them.
Come Holy Spirit, into their hearts so that they can walk through this time together.
Help them, not only with this test, but the many tests of life that are sure to come their way.
As they take this exam, help them to recall everything they have studied and be gracious
with what they have overlooked.
Remove their anxiety, and help them to remain focused and calm, confident in the facts and in their ability, and firm in the knowledge, that no matter what happens today you are there with them, always.
St Marcellin …. pray for them.
St Mary of the Cross …. Pray for them them.
Fr John Therry …. pray for them.
And let us always …. Pray for one another.
Amen.
