In week 3, year 11 Biology students went to the Mount Annan Botanical Gardens for a Biological Diversity Case Study day. Students engaged in 3 sessions at the Australian PlantBank. The first session involved students investigating the behavioural and structural adaptations of Australian native plants. In the second session, students engaged in a first hand investigation that explored the adaptations of Australian animals. In the third session, students were lucky enough to meet some animals from Taronga Zoo and listened to a lecture about adaptations of Australian animals.
