Year 9 Western Sydney University Fast Forward Program.
This program, for a select number of students has commenced with a Welcome to Western online session on the evening of Monday 29/3/2021.
Earlier in the day, the students were presented with a Book of Letters to “My Teenage Self” giving advice that Outstanding Australians wish they had been given when growing up.
They also received a log on to the Studiosity Tutorial program which gives study support 24/7.
The TaPP program has completed the first session roll out.
Year7, 8 9 & 10 have had their first sessions which used the Profile from “The Careers Department” program to show links between Education and the progression into Work via various paths.
Year 8 and 7 have examined what Skills and Personal qualities students have and then introduce the Language of Work and what that means for their future.
Students are asked to complete worksheets associated with each session and upload them to the careers program. Parents can work with their child at home on the online program.
