LIVE 2021
The new 2021 crop of Youth Ministry Leaders were a mixture of nervousness and excitement to host John Therry Catholic College’s first LIVE! Event for 2021 on Thursday, 25/3. Their first task was to hold a concert in the shelter shed for the eyes of the school to witness in all its glory. With a large crowd gathering and school COVID rules being adhered to, the lunchtime concert was performed with great gusto to the joy of the students. The main event for the YML’s however, was at 3:30pm in William E Murray Hall. The students gathered at the back of the hall to enjoy some snacks and to formally meet the YML’s in a more relaxed atmosphere. With energy levels peaking, students participated in some ice breaker games to burn off energy before being introduced to the theme for the evening “Connected: Be”. Overall the night was a great success for all involved with students being commended for their incredible reverence and participation throughout the event.
Thank you to the many teachers who gave up their time to assist in the festivities and also to the students who attended and put themselves out there to be present and open to the words of Jesus.
