JTCC INITIATIVES FOR ST VINCENT DE PAUL
Annual Christmas Hamper Appeal
This term was the annual St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal, in which learning groups were given a task of filling a Christmas Hamper for the local charity "Church of Christ" - Ambarvale, which is directly connected to St Vincent de Paul charity. With a shorter turnaround period than usual, students accepted the challenge with numerous learning groups filling more than (2) hampers. Year 7 Chisholm 2 under the leadership of Mrs Roet filled (6) hampers in total with Mrs Roet quoting their "deep desire to help those who are less fortunate and may not be able to have food or presents for Christmas". With many students understanding the importance of upholding our Catholic and Marist values, we were able to collect (46) hampers in total. All of these hampers will be donated to local community members who are struggling or need extra assistance during the holiday period.

Fundraising for St Vincent de Paul
This week a group of (15) students all came together to raise money for St Vincent de Paul through a John Therry car wash. Accompanied by Mr Tannous and led by Mr Nau the students washed over (20) staff cars across two days to ensure that the happy customers could drive home in shiny bright vehicles.
