PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
HSC COMMENCES – Finally
Congratulations go to our Year 12 students who had a wonderful start to their HSC exams this week. In a year where, at one stage, they were unlikely to sit for any exams because of the covid pandemic they have shown great resilience in their studies.
We wish all the capacity to show their talents and abilities after such trying times.
MISA DEBATING
Congratulations to our Yr 7 Misa Debating team on taking out the Grand Final against Oran Park Anglican College. Our team (Salomiya Siby, Neha Nishad, Riley McIntyre and Jayden Diamond) came together as the season progressed and took on the advice of coaches, Mrs Roet and Ms Pedder and swept all comers.
The growth in their ability to logically create arguments, rebut the opposition and show determination throughout was sensational. When they functioned as a team they were incredibly powerful. Well done.
COVID RESTRICTIONS
A big thank you to all parent who have visited the College in recent times and have had to put up with the Covid precautions. Signing in so contact tracing requirements are met, sanitising and having temperatures taken. All of these precautions are in the best interests of the students and protecting them but do cause some concern for others.
As we move through this Term the restrictions are constantly changing and easing. We will be communicating with parents as these changes come into action.
