Year 12, 2021

Our students have made a great start to their final year of school. We have been busy finalising course changes, where necessary so learning in all courses can begin without much delay. I wish to reiterate that all their teachers will do their best to support our students through this challenging but exciting year ahead.

Students have received their HSC Assessment Handbook which includes the Assessment Grids for all courses as well as the Assessment Schedule for Term 4 (with dates).

The Assessment Handbook- details the policies/procedures and requirements of the courses. We will go through elements of the Handbook at Year meetings.

The Assessment Grid- is a guide for students to know the tasks, outcomes and weightings for each task

The Assessment Schedule- gives dates for tasks due in Term 4 so students know when, exactly, tasks are due.

Students have soft copies of these documents, as well.

To mark the end of the Year 11 course, we plan to follow the timetable below:

Year 11, 2021

We are in the final stages of confirming the course selections made by students for next year. We are hoping our Year 10 students are excited about starting Stage 6 study.

Semester 2 exams and tasks

Weeks 4 to 6 will be busy weeks for our students in years 7 to 10 as most exams and tasks will be ongoing (as per the Assessment Calendar) during this time and till the end of the year.

We wish our Year 10 students, in particular, all the best for their exams and tasks as they will get their RoSA grades at the end of this Term marking the end of Stage 5 learning.

Years 7-9 will also be completing exams and tasks in the coming weeks. We wish them the best of luck, too.

As always, students are expected to be punctual to each exam/task and follow the exam/task protocols. In the case of an illness or misadventure, students are asked to complete the appropriate paperwork and submit it to their teachers or KLA Coordinator on their return to school.
