COVID-19 UPDATE
ANY STUDENT WHO HAS A COVID TEST MUST SHOW A NEGATIVE RESULT UPON RETURN TO SCHOOL OR PRIOR TO RETURN
Clarification regarding return to school following flu-like symptoms
Students who have been sick with flu-like symptoms are required to present a negative COVID test result when they have displayed the COMMON coronavirus symptoms. These symptoms are defined by NSW Health as:
- Fever
- Coughing
- Shortness of breath (difficulty breathing)
- Sore throat
- Loss of smell or taste
If any student is displaying common coronavirus symptoms they are not to attend school; or will need to be picked up and taken from school.
PARENTS ATTENDING THE COLLEGE OFFICE
A change in the Covid restrictions means that parents attending the College Office to pick up a sick child need to report to the Office and then either move out of the Office area and wait or sign in and have their temperature checked.
My sincere congratulations go to the Year 12 cohort for the effort they displayed as they undertook the Trial HSC exams. We have heard many times that this year is like no other and this is more so for Year 12 who come to the end of their formal education. The effort to do well and the happy nature of the group has helped them through this traditionally stressful time.
I am yet to get further clarification on the Year 12 Farewell Assembly in Week 10 and the Graduation that will be delayed into Term 4. I will communicate with all as information comes to me.
