INDIGINEOUS NEWS
On Friday the 8th November the Illawarra Aboriginal Debutante Ball was held to support some of our years 9, 10 and 11 students as they made their debut into society. The event was held in conjunction with the Lake Illawarra Police department, with both the organising committee and police departmentment acknowledging and commending, on multiple occasions, the involvement of our students.
A lot of work and dedication went into this program. A huge thank you to Mrs Cherrylle Nau (Indigenous Support) for the work that she does with these students to get them involved in such community positive programs.
