LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES
On Tuesday 10th September John Therry hosted a Parent Tech Talk centred around 2 main topics:
- Sentral Parent Portal
- Google Classroom
The night was highly successful with parents receiving the opportunity to log into their child's Google Classroom to have a better understanding of how Google Classroom is used at John Therry. Parents were able to look at a "To Do List" as well as the current work in the classroom to help show the learning that is taking place in each subject.
With the positive feedback from all involved, I will be looking at hosting more of these events along with some answers to common questions (which will be discussed here in future newsletters) on topics and questions from the school community.
