VET STUDENTS SHINE IN HOSPITALITY & CONSTRUCTION
Our VET students have had a very busy and productive few weeks, putting their skills into practice and gaining valuable hands-on experience.
In Hospitality, students have been working hard running the Marista Café, serving up a delicious variety of dishes including chicken tacos, pasta, grazing boxes, and freshly made churros. They have had the opportunity to showcase their culinary skills, teamwork, and customer service while managing the demands of a real café environment. The feedback from staff and students has been fantastic, with everyone impressed by the quality and presentation of the food.
Meanwhile, our Construction students have successfully completed their brick and block assessments, learning the practical techniques and finer details involved in laying bricks and constructing solid structures. This hands-on experience has helped students develop their confidence and technical abilities while preparing them for future opportunities in the building and construction industry.
We are incredibly proud of our VET students for their dedication, effort, and enthusiasm. These practical learning experiences are invaluable in helping them gain real-world skills and setting them up for success in their chosen pathways."
