VICTOR CHANG AWARDS
The Victor Chang School Science awards were established in 2004 to celebrate gifted students and encourage an interest in science and the scientific fields post High School.
On Thursday 28th August, two of our amazing year 11 students received the prestigious Victor Chang award in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics at the Campbelltown Art Gallery attended by Mayor Darcy Lound, Mrs Teresa Harris and Dr Emma Rath of the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute.
Both Anabel Martin (studying chemistry, biology and advanced mathematics) and Metta Keen (studying chemistry, biology and advanced mathematics) were both nominated for the outstanding contributions to science at John Therry Catholic College. We congratulate our two dedicated students and thank their teachers and parents for their ongoing support of these students.
