A Joyful Celebration of Faith – Our Sacramental Program
What a beautiful journey it has been! Over the past year, a small but spirited group of students from our school community embarked on a special path—the Sacramental Program, preparing to receive the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.
Together, we explored the heart of our Catholic faith, asking big questions like Who is Jesus?, Why the Church?, and What is the Eucharist? Along the way, students discovered the power of prayer, the richness of the Creed, and the joy of growing closer to God. It was a time of learning, reflection, and deep personal growth.
Last month, this journey came to a joyful culmination as the students received their Sacraments at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Parish, Rosemeadow. It was a truly special Mass, celebrated with love and reverence—thanks to the warm guidance of Fr Chris Sarkis, Mr Brad McAlister, and the dedicated staff of John Therry Catholic College.
We offer our heartfelt congratulations to each student who received their Sacraments—you are now fully initiated members of our Catholic family! May your faith continue to grow and flourish in the years ahead.
