CAREER NEWS - ZOOKEEPER FOR A DAY
After attending a recent careers expo with the school, Year 10 student Abby Quinn was thrilled to win a “Zookeeper for a Day” experience at Sydney Zoo — and has now completed the hands-on opportunity.
During the day, Abby worked alongside experienced zookeepers, helping with animal feeding and learning about conservation and animal care practices. The experience gave her a real-world insight into what a career in animal care involves and working with animals.
The opportunity came as part of a careers expo giveaway, showing just how valuable these events can be for students exploring their future pathways.
