MISA DEBATING
On Tuesday 3rd December, our amazing Year 8 MISA Debating Team competed in the Grand Finals of the debating competition, against St Francis Catholic College.
Throughout Semester 2, Sue Nguyen, Isabelle O'Toole, Sophie Collet and Emily Huang worked extremely hard in each debate, and proved their skills to be exemplary. Their use of manner, method and matter shined through in each debate, and earned them a spot in the grand final.
The debate was tough, and extremely close and ultimately St Francis came out with the win, making John Therry 2nd Place in all of Macarthur. Although our team did not win, each member should be very proud of themselves as they have shown their tremendous growth and hard work throughout the Semester.
