2024 CKCSA AWARDS
Celebrating Excellence in Japanese Studies
On Wednesday, 4th December, Japanese students from John Therry Catholic College proudly attended the Campbelltown Koshigaya Sister City Association awards presentation ceremony at the Campbelltown Civic Centre.
The event was hosted by Mr. Terry Crotty, President of the Association, with awards presented by Campbelltown's Mayor, Councillor Darcy Lound. These prestigious awards acknowledge students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement in Japanese language studies and actively engage in cultural activities both within and beyond the school environment.
Representing John Therry were Year 11 students Trent Jones and Max Thammavong, alongside Year 9 students Sibella Keith and Dennis Tran. These students have shown remarkable dedication and enthusiasm for their studies and cultural participation, earning them this well-deserved recognition.
