This hands-on assessment provided them with the opportunity to learn directly from a seasoned tradesman, Andrew, who demonstrated the art and technique of wall construction.
Throughout the day, Andrew shared his extensive knowledge and practical skills, guiding the students through the various steps involved in laying bricks. This experience not only enriched the students' understanding of the intricacies of bricklaying but also gave them a deeper appreciation for the precision and craftsmanship required in this essential trade.
The students found the day to be exceptionally insightful. The direct interaction with a professional in the field allowed them to grasp the nuances of the trade and see firsthand the dedication and skill that goes into building a wall. Many students left the assessment with a newfound respect for the trade and a greater enthusiasm for their future in construction.
