Term 3 has kicked off with a flurry of activity for our Year 10 Food Technology students. Diving into their unit on "Food for Specific Needs," students have been busy in the kitchen, crafting a variety of delicious dishes. From the creamy richness of carbonara to the spicy zest of peri peri chicken paired with crispy sweet potato fries, their culinary skills are being put to the test!
Adding to the excitement, the students had the unique opportunity to meet with Bijay, the owner of the food truck 'Mr Pig.' He shared his expertise on catering to diverse dietary needs and offered insights into the world of food service. This experience is set to play a pivotal role in their studies as they continue to explore the intricacies of food service next term.
