JTCC SPORT UPDATE - Term 3 Week 1
After a very successful MISA campaign in Term 3, I am delighted to announce that John Therry sits in second place, just behind Mt Carmel in the 2024 MISA Champion School competition. Both Junior and Senior Boys team are ranked 1st while the Junior and Senior Girls teams are ranked third and second respectively.
As we turn our attention to the upcoming Term 3 competition, I encourage all JTCC representatives to ensure they have all their playing gear each week and ensure they arrive on time for attendance before departing the College for their MISA games.
Term 3 competition games will commence in Week 2 and conclude with finals in Week 9. All the best to our JTCC MISA teams,

Diocesan and Pathways update
JT finished on high at the end of Term 2, with success across Diocesan and MISA competitions. This is such a positive as we move past the halfway point of our 2024 sporting year, particularly as the feedback from coaches and managers is that our students are not only performing well, but representing the school with pride, enthusiasm and integrity. As a Sports Coordinator I believe that our behaviour as people is just as important as results, and I am proud of how our athletes are conducting themselves.
Good luck to our athletes competing at the Diocesan Athletics Carnival next Friday!
Athletics Overall House Champion
This was our final school carnival event that contributes to our Champion House Tally. Congratulations to our winners, Murray who absolutely dominated.
We will celebrate these students, our overall Champion house and more at our sports Assembly at the end of the year.

Zoe Hawkes recently represented NSWCCC at the NSW All Schools Cross Country Carnival at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre. She did very well, with hard and fast racing conditions. Zoe placed 45 in the state out of 104 competitors. Well done Zoe!

Good luck to Sullivan O’Dwyer on the Gold Coast at the Schools Sport Australia Games from Sunday 28 July to Saturday 3 August in the sports of AFL, representing the NSW All Schools Team, alongside Mrs. Roberts as the Girls AFL Team Manager.
