CHINESE INCURSION
Bubble Tea at JT
This past Friday, our Year 9 and 10 students studying Chinese delighted our Year 8 students with a hands-on cultural experience. They prepared a diverse array of bubble teas, and the Year 8 students practised their linguistic skills by ordering in Mandarin and using Renminbi, the official currency of China. Such enriching activities foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture and language, whilst also enabling students to use real-life scenarios to practise their mandarin. Thank you to Mr Bateman for organising this incredible immersive experience for our students! Well done to all involved!
