Biology and Music Sessions Boost Student Preparedness
On 4th June 2024, our HSC students attended the latest masterclasses, focusing on Biology and Music. These sessions, held in the lead-up to the Trial HSC exams, provided invaluable opportunities for students to refine their skills and deepen their understanding in these subjects.
Biology Masterclass: Mastering Graphicacy and Exam Questions
The Biology masterclass concentrated on graphicacy, an essential skill for interpreting and presenting data, and exam question strategies. Students engaged in hands-on activities that enhanced their ability to tackle complex graphical data and apply this knowledge to exam-style questions.
Music Masterclass: Enhancing Concepts and Aural Skills
In the Music masterclass, the focus was on developing concepts and aural skills. Students worked on understanding musical structures and enhancing their listening abilities, essential components of the HSC Music curriculum.

Running these masterclasses ahead of the Trial HSC exams is proving to be a valuable strategy.
