Rotary Club of Campbelltown: Youth Excellence Awards 2024
On Monday, 20th May 2024, the Rotary Club of Campbelltown held its prestigious 'Youth Excellence Awards 2024' presentation at Wests Campbelltown. The event celebrated the remarkable achievements and contributions of young individuals within our community. This year, several outstanding students from John Therry Catholic College were nominated across various categories, showcasing their talents and dedication.
The nominees included:
- Dominic Baker (Year 10) - Sport
- Amber Mason (Year 12) - Academic & Dynamic Achiever
- Gabriella Klarich (Year 12) - Academic & Dynamic Achiever
- Vivienne Dos Santos (Year 12) - Community Service/Leadership
- Lyric Jeanneret (Year 12, 2023) - Academic & Creative Arts
John Therry Catholic College took great pride in the accomplishments of its students, particularly in the recognition received by Lyric Jeanneret. Lyric was honored with the title of 'Campbelltown Youth Ambassador 2024,' an accolade that acknowledges exceptional leadership and contribution to the community. Additionally, Lyric was the 'Runner Up' in the Academics category and a joint 'Winner' in the Creative Arts category.
The Youth Excellence Awards serve not only as a platform to recognize the hard work and dedication of our youth but also as an inspiration for other students to strive for excellence in their respective fields.
