ART OF SMART
On Tuesday, 7th of May, year 12 students participated in the Art of Smart workshop run by Rowan Kunz. With approximately 80 days until the Higher School Certificate, this workshop provided a timely reflection on the ways students were able to maximise the time they have left until their Higher School Certificate examinations and harness this into producing stronger results.
This engaging workshop created opportunities for students to identify personalised strategies and allowed them to examine intentional approaches to the way they tackle their study. Students were given time to identify ways in which they could minimise distraction, recognise their level of motivation, and provided them with examples of techniques they could use to focus on their goals.
Art of Smart also demonstrated techniques to engage with study notes, syllabus’ and how to fix areas of challenge in each of their courses at this stage of their journey. Students are challenged to continue to practise, to participate in all opportunities with curiosity and to continue to improve in their preparation as they navigate through the remainder of their HSC year.
