DRONE INCURSION
The second of 4 drone incursions took place on Friday 3rd May. We had 28 keen students from years 9 and 10 participating. Our lovely instructor Brooke from SurfLifesaving NSW gave a talk about the uses of drones and about perceptions of gender-bias in professions. The girls then learnt how to do manual flying with the drones followed by flight using coded flight paths. It was great to see the girls picking up these skills so quickly, they were extremely competent drone pilots today, well done!
