GEOTECH SCHOLARSHIP
Congratulations to the following students from the WISE club, who were successful in their application to secure a spot in the 3 day STEM event “Geotech” at RMIT, Melbourne in July:

Each of these students were also successful in their application for a $1000 travel grant. This is a fantastic achievement as there were only 30 spots available for the event, and only 15 travel grants awarded in total. GeoTech aims to inspire young women to explore careers in geospatial and space technologies. Students will hear from industry experts and develop their skills through practical activities and fieldwork. Students will spend their time with female role models and professionals from leading organisations including Esri Australia, The Geospatial Council of Australia, FrontierSI, VicMap (Department of Transport and Planning), SheMaps, James Cook University, and RMIT University. This event is supported by the federal government.
