Student Work and Greatness (SWAG) is your platform for student pieces. In each issue we showcase a sample of student work, from poetry to painting, photography to prose.
Year 8 are currently studying poetry and how it fashions human emotion into the written form.
In their exploration of poetica they have developed knowledge of the unique forms and features of different kinds of poetry, two of which are sonnets and haikus. Please enjoy Year 8's sonnets and haikus on a variety of topics.
